Three lectures were delivered at Al-Babtain Charitable Center for Heritage and Culture in Riyadh – Al-Sahafa District on Monday 4/26/1433 AH corresponding to 3/19/2012 AD accompanying the sixth meeting of the Society’s General Assembly, and they are as follows:

A lecture entitled “Introducing Functional Foods” delivered by His Excellency Dr. Bushra Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bashir – General Administration of Nutrition – Ministry of Health.

Food and Drug General Authority

A lecture entitled “The Food and Drug General Authority and its legislative role in food safety” delivered by His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Hadlaq – representative of the Food and Drug General Authority.

A lecture entitled “Functional foods and their relationship to food and medicine” delivered by His Excellency Professor Dr. Kamal Al-Din Hussein Al-Taher – College of Pharmacy – King Saud University.
